The World Sport Jujitsu League ( WSJL) was formed to continue the legacy of Professor Tony “The Bear” Maynard and the vision he has to spread our brand of martial arts competition around the globe. Professor Maynard has been influential in the Martial Arts community for nearly 6 decades!
He was a founding member of the World Council of Jujitsu Organizations; he founded the United States Jujitsu Association, as well as his own style of American Combat Jujitsu. We are here to honor his achievements and continue to promote the traditional art of Jujitsu, our unique brand of continuous action sparring, the
progressive nature of Combat Jujitsu, and create lifelong international friendships through competition and fellowship.
It is our goal for competitors, coaches, and all spectators to enjoy this event to its fullest…
